TEARS OF THE ORPHANS
Being an orphan is the most painful experience that someone can ever have in life. The pain you experience does not choose how old you are,you could be a child or an adult but it does not matter how old you are or who you are. Loosing both parents is not something that someone can recover from easily.
Not all orphans feel loved after the lose of their parents. Only a few are accepted and loved, but sometimes it's just because the relatives have no choice. I can say most orphans are rejected since they have no one to run to. Some relatives even end up accusing them of killing their parents. But sometimes it's never their fault to be orphans. May be their parents could have died through a road accident or may be they got sick and died but whichever way,its really painful to lose your parents.
It's not an easy journey being an orphan. Sometimes you sit down and remember the wonderful moments you and your parents shared. It takes time to recover from all these,I can't say that someone can easily recover from this. Let's share an experience from someone:
A five year old girl, started her journey of being an orphan at a very young age. Though at this age she did not understand anything about death. At this particular time, she lost her loving mother. A woman who was always loving and caring to her family. Do you really think this little girl would find it easy coping without her mother even though she had here siblings and her dad to look up to?
Life went on as usual for her and her siblings, but not completely normal, but they had their father who tried his best to help them move on. However it was not easy for him knowing he was now everything to these children.
Just some years later, tragedy knocked at their door again. The girl who was now 17 years old had to face another traumatising moment of her life. She lost her dad in the most painful way one can ever ask for. She was in high at this particular time and after the burial ,she went back to school but her classmates tormented her since she was always quiet. Some used to say "kwani anadhani yeye ndo wa kwanza kukuwa orphan".
Everyone has their own way of expressing their pain and this was her own way of doing so. Not everyone can understand the pain one goes through after loosing the only person you knew as father and mother at the same time. So she chose not to do anything about it but rather remain silent.
The story is just an example of what orphans face out there. If I start telling the story now in writing I may never finish writing. Someone does not have to suffer physically but also emotionally. You don't have to be rejected by anyone for people to know that you are suffering. You may be smiling but not fine in the inside. So try to consider the kind of words you say to people before you speak out, some may not take it lightly. Let's reach out to some of these orphans, they really need help. All in all,I thank God that the girl was able to continue with her studies and is currently at the University, The Technical University of Mombasa.
Tears of the orphans is how I call it. It may be physical or emotional pain but they all need the help, attention and support they can get

This is why I always pray God to bless me not for my own benefit but to help such kids😪😪

ReplyDeleteYes, you may never finish writing especially in a blog. But this is one of the best stories to be published in book. You can make a great novel here or even just a short story. Go girl Go!
ReplyDeleteSo sad indeed. May we try a little kindness to those kids whenever God blesses us.
