FIGHTING FOR THE GIRLCHILD

The girlchild,a very vulnerable specie among the human beings yet taken for granted in different ways.Tears are flowing from their eyes each passing day looking for someone to defend them.Injustices are being done to them but no one is willing to speak out on their behalf because it is assumed that their voices are worthless to the society.

Taking an example of our country Kenya,recently cases of girls being defiled by people close to them has left the girlchild leaving them in fear.Recently an innocent girl was defiled by her father ,who took advantage of his position as a police officer to have the girl tortured in order to hide the truth from the public. Was it fair for the girl to go through all that?Was it wrong for her to fight for justice for the wrong done to her?

Cases of defilement have really made the girl child to live in doubt on who to trust and who not to because of the wrong doings being done to them.They feel insecure in their homes around their parents especially their fathers. Should this be happening to these innocent creations?

Another nightmare to the girlchlid is the FGM Some communities out their are still practising this which exposes the girlchild to danger.Some of the effects include excess bleeding which may lead to death if not taken care of,difficulty during delivery ,it mag also give access to transmission of HIV AND AIDS and also trauma some may call it depression which come as a result of the ACT done to them.The girlchild needs someone to defend them and set them free from all these.

We need to rise up and defend the girl child .They need protection and someone to help them fight for their rights. The girl child needs to feel secure,loved and protected by the citizens from various parts of the country. Let's rise up and take up the task to defend the girlchild and help them to fight for their rights.
